Ayush Jha
Director of Programs & Co-Founder
Hi there! My name is Ayush and I am a second-year student studying Biomedical Science at the University of Calgary. My time spent as a clinical student/volunteer, a researcher on a pediatric disorder causing ASD in children, and my personal experiences interacting with children afflicted by the disorder has motivated me to do my part in improving families’ ability to access the various programs that are available to them within our system. Outside of school and work, I am a very big sports/fitness enthusiast, and make it a point to incorporate at least some degree of physical activity into my daily schedule. I am also very passionate about working with children, as they tend to be the only ones who laugh at my jokes.

Hi! My name is Yahya and I am excited to be apart of the health help Alberta team. Besides my passion for medicine and healthcare, I love playing sports, weightlifting and reading!

Hi! My name is Sara and I am excited to be a part of HHA. I am a second-year biomedical science major at the University of Calgary. I have experience working with children with disabilities and aiding in their day-to-day functions. Also, I love working with people and helping others.

Hi! My name is Parnika and I am a fourth year Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Calgary. As someone who has readily worked with kids since being a kid myself, I am incredibly passionate about child health. Moreover, as the child of first generation immigrants, I first hand understand how difficult it can be to navigate the healthcare system. I am incredibly excited to be joining Health Help Alberta, and look forward to to supporting families in accessing the healthcare resources available to them. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, teaching, working with kids, and film score composing!

Ryan Rahimi
Director of Community Events
I am a second-year student studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Calgary. I have spent time as both a summer camp counsellor in a camp specialised for children with disabilities, as well as having volunteered to assist in the development of fundamental social skills in children with disabilities through adapted recreation and intergroup activities. Through these experiences, I have gained a greater understanding of the importance of access to a vast array of programs to allow for individual enrichment, which is why I joined the Health Help team. I tend to spent my free time being active through working out, playing hockey, or spending time with my dog.

Ronaar supports connections between Health Help Alberta and local organizations. His focus is on building collaborative relationships that help families find relevant services and strengthen community support.

Treasurer
Jakob supports the responsible use of Health Help Alberta’s resources. As Treasurer, his focus is on clear budgets, careful recordkeeping, and helping the board plan for sustainable community initiatives.
